Review of Olay Total Effects 7-In-One Nourishing Cream Cleanser, 6.5 oz

I normally use Clinique's three-step skin care, which is pricey compared to over-the-counter products. Because I like a bargain, I'm always looking for comparable products that are less expensive.

The first thing I noticed about Olay Total Effects 7-In-One Nourishing Cream Cleanser is how gentle it was, possibly too gentle. This Anti-Aging Cream Cleanser will definitely moisturize your facial skin and leave it feeling ultra silky. However, the "cleanser" did not lather and the lack of it did not give the feeling of a clean face. The facial cleanser is meant to be used daily, which I did in hopes of becoming use to it. Because I have to have that "just cleaned" feeling before applying lotion or cream, I eventually started to use this product as a moisturizer after using my "go-to" face wash.

I had started to wonder if perhaps the product's lack of lather had turned me off?  Could it just be that we have grown accustom to harsh facial washes?  Whichever it may be, my face never felt clean. Although I couldn't recommend this product as a facial cleanser, I can definitely agree that the Nourishing Cream Cleanser left your facial skin feeling silky smooth.
